"SapSorrow knew the gown had been made exactly to her specifications when she saw it, but she had never truly realized how well crafted it was until she had worn it. She glided through the crowds at the ball, a living embodiment of the night sky."

This is my submission for Illustration Friday this week. The topic was "Worn". The story of SapSorrow/StraggleTag is one of my favorites, and I could not resist drawing SapSorrow in my favorite of her three gowns, the night sky - the other two being representations of the sun and the moon.

Just a sketch on xerox paper, colored with colored pencil, and though it showed up poorly here, a silver paint marker.
